Since 1988, dormiente has been producing natural beds in Heuchelheim, Hesse, and has evolved from an eco-pioneer to the market leader in Germany with its rigorously pollutant-tested, high-quality natural latex mattresses. The product range, expanded over the years to include bedding, solid wood, and upholstered beds, meets all requirements for a healthy, ergonomic, and sustainable sleeping environment. dormiente exclusively uses renewable raw materials, preferably in organic quality, and, in addition to natural latex and cotton, increasingly relies on regional raw materials such as hemp and seagrass from Germany. For the sustainability of its products, dormiente received the 'Green Brands' award for the second time in 2023. As an innovative company with around 60 employees, it is a significant local employer and manufactures its extensive bed collection domestically.
