For more than 100 years, the art of upholstery has been in our family from the father passed on to the son. This is how the 5th generation of moosburger® was able to start the profession of learn upholstery.

Over many generations we have worked with all upholstery materials (Afrique, coconut, sisal, fiber, kapok, feathers, wool, foam, latex, horsehair etc.).
We made the best experiences with the horsehair. It combines the best upholstery properties with the most ideal climate conditions.
That's why we have specialized in this high-quality upholstery material "horsehair".
We collect, wash and clean and refine the horsehair.
In our family business in Hörbranz on Lake Constance we process our own
Horsehair washing and spinning according to well-established tradition exclusively best horsehair qualities. The 100% certified organically grown cotton fabrics are sewn in the in-house sewing department carefully cut and sewn to each mesaurement.
The upholstery connects the horsehair with the fabric and the result is a high-quality, hand-made horsehair nature product.
On our handcrafted mattresses, topper and pillows you sleep healthy and completely in harmony with nature.

For more than 30 years, the mattress or the topper has been made with100% horsetail hair in this proven Biocen system. Even after many years of use, this Biocen products can be refurbished by us, i.e. the hair is dry cleaned, aired and hand-combed to new bouncy and then filled in new elements.
The cube pillows are then filled in into a new shell and can therefore not be distinguished from a new one.
Thanks to this Biocen system, this products are 100% washable, i.e. the individual elements can be machine washed with wool program at 30°C and the shell at 60°C.
You can also refill such a half-filled Biocen element after the time of using of approx. 3/4 year to make it firmer.
