By further refining tried-and-tested formats, the organisers aim to offer an even more compelling and effective trade fair experience that will inspire exhibitors and trade visitors alike and encourage collaboration.

With a new central theme and the innovative trade fair concept "The Circles", the international Interior Business Event has made an impressive return to its usual January dates.

From Sunday, the Interior Business Event will once again host an international industry gathering in Cologne.

Two well-known pairs of influencers active in the interior design and trends scene are curating furniture and decorative objects from renowned exhibitors in the Inspiration Circles at imm cologne 2024. The presentations invite visitors to explore design, aesthetics and personal expression and have been designed to complement the overarching trade fair concept “The Circles”.

One of the highlights of the innovative trade fair concept The Circles at imm cologne 2024 is set to be the Installation Circles. Here three internationally renowned design studios will present their artistically staged installations on the themes of “Welcome to Stay”, “Sense of Surface” and “Impact of Light”.

The 20th edition of the Pure Talents Contest for the next generation of designers attracted an exceptionally high number of applicants: with 1165 entries, 893 designers from 76 countries competed for the coveted exhibition spaces at imm cologne 2024.

At the start of the new year, Germany’s largest Interior Business Event will present the trends for the season ahead and is once again poised to be the key meeting place for the international furnishings scene. With its central theme of Connecting Communities, the trade fair is inviting visitors to come and discover the new collections and product innovations, to exchange ideas, discuss trends, make new contacts and maintain existing relationships.

Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is set to support the participation of innovative young businesses in imm cologne once again in 2024. By covering up to 60 per cent of their stand costs, the funding programme offers emerging start-ups the opportunity to showcase their novel ideas at Germany’s largest Interior Business Event and boost their export activities.

A good two months before imm cologne 2024 opens, the list of confirmed trade fair participants now includes key representatives from the retail and wholesale trade and the associations as well as important marketing partners. These confirmations on the visitor side come in addition to the numerous major exhibitors appearing at the Interior Business Event.
