Fine upgrades for classics and current programmes! Conseta, Pilotis, Drop and Jalis are kicking off 2020 at imm cologne, 13 to 19 January, Hall 11.3, Stand ST10/UT19, with a wide range of model variants for new living environments.
Equipped with two new model variants for even more design variety, the design classic Conseta is taking to the home stage in the new year. Further developments of its ingenious modular principle, from which any number of sofa combinations can be created, have resulted in a square end-lounger (140 x 140 cm) and open-base armrests (16 cm wide). Positioned on the right or left, the substantial upholstered lounger serves as an accentuated end element for freely configurable seating landscapes. It is just as beautiful and inviting as solitary furniture, as well as being an eye-catcher. If two lounger elements are combined with each other, comfortable lounge islands can even be created and cosy side and back cushions increase their snug factor.
The new armrests have been developed for lovers of open-base sofas: In combination with a furniture body on skids or feet, sofas can now be designed which almost appear to float. Covers in fabric and leather from the COR collection, design by Friedrich-Wilhelm Möller, further development: COR
Delicate duo: sofa and easy chair Pilotis
Pilotis, the architecture-oriented upholstered furniture concept, demonstrates a sense of family through talented young talent and many new applications. The new filigree model variants present sofas in widths of 160/180/200 cm and an easy chair with a total depth of just 78 cm. They are fashioned loosely on the basic idea of transferring seating comfort and characteristic design to the furnishings of apartments, studios or flats with smaller floor plans. In the future, Pilotis will be at home not only in the living area, but in practically all rooms. After all, comfortable upholstery with loose cushions can also enhance a bedroom or multifunctional zones. Can sitting pleasure now also be applied to reclining? Nothing could be easier! Place cushions or upholstered rolls at the end of the sofa and then, just - relax. Covers in fabric and leather from the COR collection, design by Metrica
Drop is flying high
Slender radii made of tubular steel and puristic upholstery cores are unmistakable design features of the Drop seating furniture. The successful initial design of the elegant, stackable stool has now given rise to further protagonists with which COR is continuing this successful series. New opportunities for upward mobility are offered by beautifully designed bar stools with heights of 68/81 cm, which encourage tête-à-têtes while cooking and eating, or heart-to-hearts at the bar. The slim upholstered benches, available in a shorter (110 cm long) and a longer (170 cm long) version, are also versatile and can be stacked if required. Their most outstanding talents? The ability to be many things and to remain flexible, even in the smallest of spaces. The user determines the intended purpose as a temporary seat, bench or workstation. Laptop and cappuccino are not included, but a small practical extension table is. Upholstery covers in fabric and leather from the COR collection, lacquered tubular steel in RAL or special colours. Jalis for daydreamers and night owls
Seen from above, and ideally accompanied by Bette Midler's "From a distance", many things seem much easier. It is precisely this harmonious and relaxed attitude to life that is evoked by a Jalis bar stool. Inspired by oriental cultures, the cushion-based Jalis design - the sofa appeared for the first time in 2010, the upholstered chair in 2012 - has found admirers in many countries. The charming idea of bringing the comfort of sitting in easy chairs to the bar is typical of COR. An outstanding furniture design has been further evolved in order to address current needs: the enjoyment of cultivated privacy in stimulating communication. Times of day and appointments then become secondary, as in any well-managed club. Versions: upholstered body with seat heights of 70/81 cm, armrests and wire frame, rotatable/optionally with a retaining spring. Covers in fabric and leather from the COR collection. Design Jehs+Laub.
