Personalisé describes a future concept in which people want to be addressed personally and with empathy – for the major worldwide upheaval caused by digitalisation and AI. The way of working will be redefined and the focal point is the personal fingerprint in the middle of the transparent masses. Mara Michel describes four aspects of this megatrend in her presentation:
Reduit et sensible means dealing with consumption in a sustainable and conscious way. Swapping, lending and upcycling represent a new sensibility towards our planet – focussing, simplifying, cleaning up and appreciating together with the community.
Naturel et intelligent means creating space for the regeneration of nature and our environment. We protect it and listen to its clever secrets, which have been developed over thousands of years. We use its products and create new innovative products from the waste generated.
Intégrative et précieux is supposed to be a feast for the senses. We combine digital technologies with the traditions of all cultures. New thinking structures create visualisations and as a result integration and understanding. Appreciation for one’s own traditions brings together generations and nations.
Moi et toi unites the analogue and digital to form a symbiosis. From the younger generation, we learn the courage to change, which fluctuates between romanticism, reorientation, gender, retreat and extroversion.
For all this, designers create new and surprising products.
