You may well be asking yourself, "What's the online retailer OTTO doing at a furniture trade fair?" Well, the Hamburg-based e-commerce company has adopted digitalisation in the online furniture retail segment like no other, and the imm cologne is therefore presenting OTTO this year within the special exhibition ‘TOUCH by imm with OTTO', with the focus squarely on the customer's digital purchasing experience.


OTTO is Germany's most successful online furniture retailer - no other company sells more furniture and furnishing articles than OTTO via the Internet nationwide across Germany, and this includes hundreds of thousands of products from OTTO cooperation partners. The online retailer invites trade-fair visitors and consumers to visit its special stand covering 200 m2 to experience live how the company showcases Home & Living digitally. In parallel to this exhibition OTTO is also relying above all on Augmented Reality technology.


One of the trade fair's major highlights is the stand's event programme on Thursday: mid-morning OTTO is set to present the results of its representative study ‘Buying furniture on the Internet - how Germans shop online'; in the afternoon designer Guido Mario Kretschmer will be attending, who designs articles of furniture exclusively for OTTO. Additionally, from Monday to Wednesday OTTO will also be hosting a blogger meeting - all those interested in attending are warmly welcome to discuss the latest trends in the Home & Living segment with experts and influencers.
