PAIDI Möbel GmbH

The manufacturer of children’s and youth furniture PAIDI creates and produces high quality pieces of furniture and child-oriented living environments for more than 80 years.
In 1935 the first PAIDI cot saw the light of day and immediately conquered the nurseries of Germany. It was the first ever bed for small children that went into serial production and the wood manufacturer in Hafenlohr quickly became one of Germany’s leading brands.
The company’s name is also its credo: the term PAIDI comes from the Greek “paidi” and means “for the child”. The company added “for the happy child”. As managing director Udo Groene states: “To make the little ones feel good in their living surroundings we have to develop our furniture from their perspective.”
Today, PAIDI stands for intelligent and upgradable children’s furniture, available in complete programmes for each age group. PAIDI furniture grows along with the children, as all items are expandable, combinable and sustainable at the same time. Their customer group are those
parents and grandparents who look for high quality and security met by a timeless, sustainable design.
