The trend showcase with lounge
The newly designated Pure Atmospheres section of imm cologne promises visitors a fascinating experience in the form of immersive brand presentations by a host of premium design brands from the international interiors industry. The Trend Atmospheres event and a lounge are set to provide Hall 11 with a new hotspot.
The innovative event concept will be premiering at imm cologne 2019 and was developed by creative director Dick Spierenburg. An attractive exhibition architecture in the middle of Hall 11.3 will accommodate seven stages for visualising up-to-the-minute interior trends. For the Trend Atmospheres premiere, Dutch stylist Floor Knaapen and Dick Spierenburg are joining forces to create seven trend collages that will reference the latest developments in the interiors sector. The presentations will focus on three factors – colour, materials and product trends – and stage them to maximum effect, incorporating numerous products from the exhibitors participating in the Pure Atmospheres section of the fair. The resulting trend collages will provide an overview of what’s happening in home interiors right now – an ideal starting point for a tour of the imm cologne in search of the current trends.
Innovative event concept: meeting place and trend showcase in one
The lounge that’s been integrated into the event architecture is both a meeting point and a place to catch your breath. It’s the ideal place for business gatherings and provides an opportunity for trend-oriented visitors to swap ideas about the developments on show or just relax for a moment. Espresso, cappuccino and light meals are available, and the lounge provides the perfect setting for visitors who want to end their day at imm cologne with a stimulating conversation over aperitifs or cocktails.
